BARBEQUE SOCIETY (KCBS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and enjoying barbeque, is the world’s largest organization of barbeque and grilling enthusiasts with over 20,000 members worldwide. Partnering with Michigan’s BIG BBQ Festival we are able to bring the top level of Competition to West Michigan.

Our double blind judging process adds to the integrity and the best cook wins. SCA events are family friendly and it’s common to see the entire family participating. We’ve had husbands and wives create their own teams to compete against each other, even father and sons, and sometimes three generations competing at the same event .
